In terms of battling Epic Bosses, if the Epic Boss has units that are classified as bloodthirsty, then Apollo will do damage with its Purifying Blast attack based off the number of units the Epic Boss has respectively.

Apollo is awarded to Tyrant players for completing Excellent Finish!. Since version 1.7.54, selling of this card is disallowed.

According to this post, made by one of the developers, in Kongregate forums, Apollo was suspended from being awarded on version 1.9.11, between 27 October 2011 and 4 November 2011.
- Apollo was buffed to 7 Health as of November 2012. The information box has not yet been updated to reflect this.
