Partial in-game effect for Payback
  • Doesn't proc against enemy Structures and Commanders.
  • Actually only Strike, Weaken, Jam, Enfeeble and Chaos are affected.
    • Strike, Weaken and Enfeeble are Paybacked as prescribed on the original unit.
      • For example, Strike 2 is always Paybacked as Strike 2; even though the original Strike deals 3 damage or more on the Payback unit due to Enfeeble, or 1 damage or less on the Payback unit due to Protect.
        • Procs even when Payback unit is destroyed from Strike damage.
      • If enemy Assault unit with 0 attack or lower uses Weaken, Payback will not proc.
      • Except when source unit is Augmented and the skill has no Activation modifiers, in the case of which the amount it is Augmented by will be added to the Paybacked Enfeeble/Strike/Weaken.
    • Because of the way Jam and Chaos are designed, the same Payback unit can only Payback Jam and Chaos at most once per turn, unless being Cleansed afterward before the end of the turn.
      • If Jam fails, Payback will not proc.
  • Target All skills are Paybacked as Target Single skills.
  • Paybacked skills ignore faction restriction.
  • Paybacked skills cannot be Evaded.
  • Paybacked skills cannot be Intercepted.
  • Doesn't proc against the Mimic skill itself, but procs against skills copied by Mimic.
  • Doesn't proc against skills copied by Payback, and/or affected by Chaos.
