A large number of Formations are available for acquisition through the Collection Formations section.






Sprawl[]

This Formation allows up to 4 Commanders, 8 Assault Units and 10 Structures.

This Formation can be obtained through the Collection (Formations) by acquiring the following:


Juggernaut[]

This Formation allows up to 3 Commanders, 14 Assault Units and 4 Structures.

This Formation can be obtained through the Collection (Formations) by acquiring the following:


Oligarchy[]

This Formation allows up to 6 Commanders, 8 Assault Units and 6 Structures.

This Formation can be obtained through the Collection (Formations) by acquiring the following:


Division[]

This Formation allows up to 4 Commanders, 16 Assault Units and 4 Structures.

This Formation can be obtained through the Collection (Formations) by acquiring the following:


Wing[]

This Formation allows up to 4 Commanders, 18 Assault Units and 5 Structures.

This Formation can be obtained through the Collection (Formations) by acquiring the following:


Veteran[]

This Formation allows up to 4 Commanders, 10 Assault Units and 4 Structures, and has a chance to jam one Robotic.

This Formation can be obtained through the Collection (Formations) by acquiring the following:


Empire[]

This Formation allows up to 6 Commanders, 16 Assault Units and 6 Structures.

This Formation can be obtained through the Collection (Formations) by acquiring the following:


Notes[]

  • These Formations were introduced to the game on November 13, 2009.
  • The Academy Token was to be acquired by inviting new players to War Metal and the new players achieving level 10. Introduced around October/November 2009, the Academy feature did not function properly and was removed from the game shortly after introduction.
  • With the introduction of Arena Tokens on 14 June 2010, the Veteran Formation requirement was modified from 8 Academy Tokens to 8 Arena Tokens.
