Tyrant Card Analysis[]
Auger Tank's (AT) base stats of 1/3/2 sub-par, but its Armor 2 ability enormously boosts its survivability, and Rally Imperial 2 rounds up the whole package to declare this card above average tanky, and okay if it rallies itself in the damage department.
The great deal about this card is that it offers the strongest single target Imperial Rally you can get in the game as of now, therefore it synergizes extremely well with the strong Flurry cards, such as Fortifier and Metalhead, tremendously boosting their rather low base attack to deal devastating damage if Flurry activates.
Its fast activation time paired with the 3 HP and Armor 2 make it hard to kill before it deploys if not facing a unit with at least Pierce 2 or hardhitting/multiple Strikes. This makes AT a good pick in decks that profit a lot from its Rally ability, or that need a meat shield to throw in the way of the enemy to give your other cards a chance to deploy.
Overall it highly depends on your strategy if an AT is working out for you better than another one of the very good 2 turn delay units the Imperial faction has to offer already. If you can take advantage of the strong Rally ability, it is sure worth the WB you need to spend to purchase AT as it is a well rounded unit with great synergy potential.
