Tyrant Card Analysis[]
Bloodsucker provides an appealing combination of 3 useful skills, two of which are damaging in addition to the defensive flying ability. With 5 HP it is quite durable, being BT it should also be no problem to heal it up once hit.
This card shines in situations where it is going against powerful flying cards with long wait time such as Rifter, or a deck that lacks AA or flying in general so it can inflict its poison on multiple targets.
Another maybe minor, but sometimes desicive advantage is that its healthy amount of 5 HP keeps it from being one-shotted against most enemies (in contrary to its biggest faction "rival", Hatchet).
Bloodsucker's potential damage is quite good for a 2 turn wait card (poison and counter), but it's unfortunately easily avoidable most of the time. Its low 1 attack renders it almost useless against Weaken if you cannot rally it up again (Dracorex being the most commonly encountered Weaken to mention for example), as the greatest asset/the highest over time damage this card can deal usually relies in its poison ability which requires you to hit your target in order to work.
Bloodsucker's other disadvantages are its "long" wait of 2 turns which is too slow for a truely fast paced strategy, this makes Hatchet generally more desirable in a BT rush deck in the "flying department" than Bloodsucker and it's probably the main reason this card is rarely encountered in the current meta game.
Armor and Anti Air are also countering this card easily.
Overall a card with (so far) hidden potential which might be revealed once new updates/card combinations are released. As of now, it is generally outshone by other, more powerful cards.
