War Chip Units

Prior to the 11 October 2010 introduction of the new User Interface, Special units were available under the Emperor tab.

New units are available approximately every 4 weeks. Specials typically comprise of a Commander, Assault Unit, Structure, and Formation. Once a Commander or Formation has been purchased, the space remains blank until the next Special Unit cycle begins. Units featured as Specials may become available again in future War Packs. Formations may be featured again as a Special. In January 2011, War Chip Units were added to the Armory Archive.

Formations were removed from the War Chip specials prior to September 2010. Any special formations released for War Chip purchase are not expected to become available again.
